To me Earth day means a day to raise "Being Green" awareness.  When I was younger every year we would plant a pine tree in our yard. 

1. If you recycle one aluminum can you save enough energy to watch a TV for 3 hours.

2.April 22 is the first official day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere

3. Earth day started April 22, 1970

We should recycle as much as possible, have city wide power outages for like an hour to save energy.  We should make more people aware of the need to be green.
